Having a fixed identity in Christ must begin with understand who we are. In week 3 of our series, Bill Clark shares the simplicity of the answer to this question. You are who God says you are.
Who Are You
Fixed Identity | Week 3
November 10, 2019 | Bill Clark
Who are you?
You and I are who God says we are.
What must I do?"
Tell me who you are and then you will know what you must do.”
Knowing ourselves is not nearly as important as knowing who made us.
1 Peter 2:9-10 NIV
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
Exodus 19:5-6 NIV
You will be my special people out of all nations, for the whole earth is mine, but you will be for me a royal priesthood and a holy nation.
We CAN choose how we treat other people.
We CAN and must respond to injustice that happens around us.
What happens next is your choice.
My condition wasn't my identity.
